Unlocked BIOS for I9-13900HX

I bought a laptop with this CPU as Intel list it as unlocked and overclockable.

There are no BIOS options for overclocking and XTU has the options greyed out.

Where can I get an unlocked BIOS to use the CPU as Intel advertise?

NB: Watercooled laptop with headroom for overclocking.

Any bios for your laptop has to come from the laptop manufacturer.

So the laptop manufacturer creates and installs the bios?

And can limit the options on Intel CPUs?

The laptop manufacturer will create the bios, and bios updates. They will install some initial bios. Then, periodically, you must check the download site for your laptop and see if there is a newer bios. If so, you may or may not want to install the bios.

Yes, the manufacturer can (and does) limit options in their bios that can impact the cpu and limit features.

Best to go to your laptop manufacturer's site for your laptop and check their downloads for a bios update. And, you can determine your current bios by looking at the bios screen, or (on Windows) run MSINFO32 and get the bios information there. You may also use a utility, like CPU-Z to see your bios revision.
