What you have is an Engineering Sample processor. Information on this can be found at: http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-030747.htm http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-030747.htm

Ok, I admit it I found what I thought was a good deal on EBay and bought what I thought was an I7 2960XM.

When I got it there were no familiar numbers on it and before I stick it in a laptop to give it the flaming smoke test I am trying to confirm what I have. There are two number blocks and the top one shows these two lines:

10 QBZU ES

V145B016

The bottom shows:

35135293A

2988

There are some symbols I cant reproduce, but nothing easily describable. I have searched for all or part of the identification (

10 QBZU ES V145B016 35135293A 2988) everywhere I can think of without success.

Does anyone know what I have?

Thanks.
