      <description>&lt;P&gt;It is not if the board is compatible with your card.&amp;nbsp; It is if the card is compatible with your board.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;An H61 board is ~13 years old.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; You want a six year old card to run on a 13-year old board.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe, maybe not.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; And, AMD cards historically have had a difficult time with backward compatibility.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, your H61 board bios.&amp;nbsp; Is it updated as much as can be?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And, your RX580, if it does work, will be performing at PCIe 2.0, not PCIe 3.0.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only answer is try it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can say that I have had good success with older nvidia cards running on older motherboards.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, there is no indication who made your H61 board.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Yes, it says Intel.&amp;nbsp; But manufacturers stuff whatever they want in those fields.&amp;nbsp; An Intel board would provide you the model number.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And, you can upload pictures directly on the thread rather than posting them on whatsapp.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Doc (not an Intel employee or contractor)&lt;BR /&gt;[Maybe Windows 12 will be better]&lt;/P&gt;</description>
