Intel processor vulnerabilities

I am a senior consumer. My Dell is about 3 years old and has a Core i7 processor. I believe I saw a list that stated in addition to Zeon processors, Core processors were also affected. Am I correct in that assumption? And if so, what can I do, if anything? Thanks for your help.
