RaptorLake, You are very welcome. Thank you very much for sharing the SSU document.

Based on the information shown in the SSU report, we can confirm that all the components are properly installed and recognized by the system. Also that the Intel® 14600K processor is fully compatible with the MAG B660M MORTAR DDR4 (MS-7D42):

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-B660M-MORTAR-DDR4/support#cpu

We also found that the BIOS version currently installed on your device is from 02/11/2023, and there is a newer BIOS version available which is 7D42v1F from 11/06/2023:

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-B660M-MORTAR-DDR4/support#bios

In order to try to fix this problem, please get in contact directly with MSI Support for them to provide the instructions on how to update the BIOS to the latest version since the processor not only has to be fully compatible with the board itself but also with its BIOS version as well:

https://www.msi.com/support

Regards,

Albert R.

Intel Customer Support Technician

Dear Sir or Madam

After upgrading to 1400K from a 12100F, device manager displayed these devices with question marks and exclamation marks. The OTA1 and the Spp1 are related to the tp-link bluetooth dongle I have installed. If I unplug it or disable the device they disappear. The PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller comes with an exclamation mark and I cannot do anything about it. I installed all drivers the motherboard manufacturer suggests and it persists even after formatting the computer with a clean install.

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi @RaptorLake

The SSU report shows that the chipset on your motherboard is not recognised. In order to fix this, you need to download the Intel Chipset Software and install it using the following procedure:

1. Download the Intel Chipset Software zip and extract it on your drive.

2. Open Administrative Command prompt and browse to the directory where you have previously extracted the Intel Chipset Software.

3. Copy to the Command Prompt the following command: setupchipset -overall and click enter.

4. Reboot your computer and check.

Leon

The version of the Intel Chipset driver posted by Leon did not solve the problem but the version in MSI's website did the trick. I tried it in the past with no results, however this time it worked. Thanks all for the feedback.

Stop correcting me please. I appreciate that you are trying to help but when I said I want the correct link I meant a link to the webpage. your link directly starts a download of the file. The exact version that solved the problem is the one on the link below and it's name is different than the link you provided.

Here it is. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-B660M-MORTAR-DDR4/support#driver

I chose windows 10 instead of 11 since it is my operating system.
