      <description>&lt;P&gt;Also, asking which processors are supported by you bios is something we cannot answer.&amp;nbsp; Only toshiba can tell you what their bios supports.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; If you think you can get away with just socket compatible, you are incorrect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Question:&amp;nbsp; If the laptop is near and dear, why remove its heart?&amp;nbsp; You will get far more performance by replacing the hdd with an ssd (provided your device supports sata mode ahci).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Doc (not an Intel employee or contractor)&lt;BR /&gt;[Maybe Windows 12 will be better]&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've been through the SSD replacement for a few years now.&lt;BR /&gt;But I still inquired on other forums / community support sites and found adequate help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I ordered the &lt;STRONG&gt;Intel T7800&lt;/STRONG&gt; processor, it arrived, I installed it yesterday and it &lt;STRONG&gt;works flawlessly&lt;/STRONG&gt;. There is also a noticeable improvement in performance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dear&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.intel.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/21"&gt;@AlHill&lt;/a&gt;, thanks for the big nothing. I hope your other fifteen thousand comments were more useful.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
