Cpu core speed problem

Hey guys so I have a i5 10400f base speed 2.9ghz turbo 4.1ghz so when I play apex legends the core speed drops to base speed as soon as I open the game and the only way to get back up to full speed is to reboot the pc 🤬 it only happens with this game all the other are fine. It’s not overheating and all my drivers are up to date someone please help me

Also, what software are you using when monitoring the CPU frequency?
