I couldn't confirm, but the motherboard looks to be an ROG Strix X299-E motherboard. This Board supports LGA2066 as seen on their &lt;A href="https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-x299-e-gaming-model/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="font-size: 15px; font-family: Georgia, &amp;quot;Times New Roman&amp;quot;, Times, serif;"&gt;specification&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;CPUs with the same socket size do not mean that they're compatible.
