Current/EDP limit throttling in idle.

Why my 14900k corrent limit throttling when in idle. Activating every 5sec and basically acting same when under load. Is this some intel XTU bug? Everything is stock no OC. Power limited to 253w and iccmax 400A.

Download Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. When the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.

Scan: Check the box Everything.
1. Click Scan.
2. Review: When finished scanning, click Next.
3. Click Save.
4. Send the file

Also, was this occurring even before during the first few weeks you were using the system?
Are there issues you're encountering with it like System or App crashes, slow performance of your system, overheating, etc?
Have you attempted to troubleshoot the system? If yes, please list the steps you have taken.

Sorry for the late replay, but installing older bios fixed the issue. I have asus z-790-pro wifi motherboard, went from the newest back to 1645. Also cinebench score went up from 34500 to 37000.

Thank you for the response. We suggest that you contact your motherboard manufacturer to report this issue with the latest BIOS. They may have altered some features and default parameters with their BIOS 1658 that may have impacted how the power delivery behaves with their latest BIOS.
