14900ks degradation?

Well, from a few days ago I am getting some issues on Windows 11, for example, extracting files from a big compress file throw a error message, but, if I reduce the CPU mult to 54x it works fine.

Also, games likes Battlefield 2042, First Descendant, Fallout 76, are crashing again if I try to run it without "nerfing" my CPU to 54x.

I use XTU to reduce CPU mult to 54x.

Before the lastest BIOS release I was getting those crashes, but the lastest BIOS fixed all problems and it was working perfect, for a few months, but now issues are back, and worse.

Some days ago everything was just fine, I was using the lastest BIOS and Intel Default Setting with Extreme option on my ASUS z790 Maximus ROG, but now I feel my CPU is starting to degradate.

¿Any suggestion? there are no news about the new "patch" for BIOS. If I RMA my CPU, I am worry the new one suffers from the same problems, and it's taking too long for Intel to solve and release a new BIOS with the microcode update.

I have no BSOD issues, but any high usage CPU process will just fail.

ASUS are preparing the next BIOS update which will include the latest microcode. It should arrive by July 19.

Not sure if this is part of the issue, but I am getting STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION on Edge, Edge Beta and Chrome browsers, while visiting random pages.

Update: I just patch with the new microcode BIOS from ASUS, but issues continues.

STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION on browsers, games crashing or not even starting. All get stable if I nerf my CPU to 54x, but that's not what I paid for.

Going to try RMA, but it will be the same degradation in the new CPU if you Intel continue failing on find a solution.
