      <title>Need help please. Cannot download newest XTU</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I tried updating from an old version (7.14.0.15) to Latest (7.14.2.14), it completed installing then immediately blue screened and crashed my PC. I turned PC back on and it had not installed. I tried downloading again but it said I was missing some cache folder and couldn't complete and gave error code 0x80070643. It wont even download older version I had before.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;PC Specs&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;CPU: I7 14700k&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;GPU: Asus TUF Gaming 4080 Super&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;MOBO: Asus ROG Maximus Hero Z690&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;RAM: Trident Z5 DDR5 6400&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The command prompt did nothing for me and I have deleted all the file in the instructions. I restarted PC and tried installing and it gave me the same error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After that error, it popped up another box saying the old version couldn't be removed and to contact technical support&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have done everything you previously posted. The command prompt doesnt work because XTU does not exist in program files x86.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have two Intel Telemetry folders.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I deleted the one from C:\ProgramData\intel&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the other is C:\ProgramData\Intel\Uploader , do i delete this one too?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Other than that i have deleted XTU from everywhere mentioned above.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;We've reviewed your issue and noticed that experiencing a crash during mid-installation is quite unusual. Therefore, we recommend removing all XTU folders from both ProgramData and ProgramFiles once more. To completely remove XTU, please follow our &lt;A href="https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000032459/processors/processor-utilities-and-programs.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;"How to Uninstall the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU)"&lt;/A&gt; article and locate the folders.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Note: The ProgramData folder is hidden, so you may need to enable the option to show hidden folders under the view settings. Additionally, check for any XTU services running in Task Manager and ensure they are ended.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please share screenshots of the following folders to confirm:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;C:\ProgramData\Intel (make sure no XTU files/folders are present)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;C:\Program Files\Intel (make sure no XTU folder/files are present)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can also search for XTU under the local C: drive and clear out any related files and folders (unless you have specific profiles you want to keep). Once all XTU folders have been removed and services have been ended, please reboot your system. After that, try downloading the &lt;A href="https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/17881/intel-extreme-tuning-utility-intel-xtu.html" target="_self"&gt;latest version of XTU&lt;/A&gt;. So honestly I don't know what to do at this point. Is windows 11 just garbage? Or is it the CPU that isn't right?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
