Hi,

I ask here because I don't really know where else,

I have a firebat minipc with an alder lake inside, but I noticed the BIOS is virtually empty. We can configure nothing, absolutely nothing, no temperature control, cpu setting, voltage, nvme vs sata etc.. not a thing. Obviously it's a bios issue since I have another minipc with almost the exact same components, but from a different board maker and the BIOS is full, full to the brim even.

I asked firebat but they are chinese, can't communicate in English, and the little they do communicate is "NO bios updating".

If I give you the exact specifications, can Intel give me a correct BIOS to replace mine ?

The bios belongs to the device manufacturer. That is your only source for a bios update.

What, so I'm doomed now; just because they're incompetent fools ?

Why can't I use the same BIOS as the other computer given that they're nearly identical except for more or less memory ?

The bios is specific to the motherboard and supported devices, and processors supported.

No, you cannot use a bios from some other computer.
