What is the chance that the I5 1335U in the Galaxy Book 4, model NP750XGJ-KG2BR, has a problem related to the high voltage or accelerated oxidation that other processors in these generations are experiencing?

I would like to know the answer to this question as well. I bought a Lenovo laptop with the same CPU a month ago. Now I am wondering if it is affected or not. Based on what I found online, it looks like only desktop CPUs are affected. So far I haven't experienced any crashes (use the laptop for work only). Is there any tool that can diagnose the health state of the CPU?

Yes I believe there are a number of "stress" tests that can be run and see if they fail. Usually a fail is an indicator of a problem. Intel has one to test this The Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool Overview, Download, and...

Hi Sraverage,

Based on in-depth analysis of the reported Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen desktop processor Vmin Shift Instability issues, Intel has determined that mobile products are not exposed to the same issue. Intel has not been able to correlate reports of Intel Core 13th/14th Gen HX or other mobile processors to the Vmin Shift Instability issue.

Intel investigation continues in order to ensure all scenarios of instability reported to Intel are addressed on 13th and 14th generation desktop processors, including any aspects that may be unrelated to elevated voltage.

Hi Westfield60 and Consumer12345,

You may take a look as well to my response for reference.

Best regards,

Dean R.

Intel Customer Support Technician
