I bought one used and i was just wondering whether or not any performance will be affected since theres this tiny indent-cut like thing on the silver bit of it.

To answer your question, since there is a physical damage on the processor, it may or may not have an effect on the performance of the unit.

May I know if you have tried to use it already? If not, you may want to try the processor to see if there is any issues with it.
