      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The&amp;nbsp;Intel(R) SUR QC Software Asset Manager is a Windows service that is part of the Intel Computing Improvement Program (ICIP) offered as an option when installing the&amp;nbsp;Intel Driver &amp;amp; Support Assistant (DSA).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is only active if you accepted the offer to join the ICIP during the DSA install. To decline involvement you first need to look for the Intel DSA icon on the taskbar. Then right click on the icon (see graphic below)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="intelcip.png" style="width: 329px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.intel.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/58966i3E47762CA3891511/image-size/large/is-moderation-mode/true?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999&amp;amp;whitelist-exif-data=Orientation%2CResolution%2COriginalDefaultFinalSize%2CCopyright" role="button" title="intelcip.png" alt="intelcip.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Select Intel Computing Improvement Program and this screen will appear&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="intelcip2.png" style="width: 492px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.intel.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/58967i60A4CF15B00D1C25/image-size/large/is-moderation-mode/true?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999&amp;amp;whitelist-exif-data=Orientation%2CResolution%2COriginalDefaultFinalSize%2CCopyright" role="button" title="intelcip2.png" alt="intelcip2.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Click on Decline to&amp;nbsp;turn off the service. This should remove the error message and the associated issues.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
