Please, someone try to install Windows 11 on Intel Core i7-6500U CPU @ 2,50GHz, because I could see the comment from Microsoft that may will not works well.

I´m not sure if I need to upgrade my laptop because of that.

The community can help me?

Technically, your processor is not supported because it doesn't have a thread isolation security feature that is desired/required. You do have ME support for TPM 2.0 in the ME however, I believe.
Windows 11 can still be installed on virtually any machine (with TPM support), but it takes hacking and you will definitely be compromising security - and Microsoft will let you know about it in nag screens, etc. and etc. They may pull the plug and block this hacking any day now.
You have a 6th gen processor. The current gen is 14. 8 gens old? Yes, the better answer is time for an upgrade.

Sorry for disagreeing, but I love my "old" computer, and it’s still fine, even for gaming, so it's good. This processor does not have TPM 2.0 for sure, since TPM support depends on the motherboard. Mine has TPM 2.0, but it doesn’t matter. After digging into several “whys” with Copilot (MS expert), he gave up and showed me the correct answer: Microsoft will choose which processors they will support, even if the processor meets all the requirements.

It’s a business decision: support costs dictate where they decide to invest. Not happy? Stay on Windows 10, buy a new computer (as you said), or switch to Linux—it's up to you. Unfortunately, we bought the wrong one...

@GMunck The support for Windows 11 being an 8th gen or later processor has long been published:

It is not just an issue of TPM (or PTT), but other features which your processor does not have: such as:

Virtualization-Based Security (VBS).,
Hypervisor-protected code integrity (HVCI),
UEFI firmware,
Secure boot.

So, your processor does NOT meet all the requirements for W11.

Your "copilot" failed you as it should have provided this information if it were to be helpful.

I would love to see all those users who threaten to switch to Linux actually do so. The fact is that your CPU is at least 8-years-old and does not meet the requirements. And, there is something "copilot" did not tell you, but I'll leave that for another time.
