Duvida sobre cores e threads do processador

recentemente montei um pc comprando peças no aliexpress, um dos componentes era um processador Intel Xeon E52650 V4, no site da Intel diz que ele possui 12 núcleos e 24 threads, mas no CPU-Z esta dizendo que ele tem apenas 1 núcleo e 2 threads (quando montei, usei um ssd que já tinha em um pc velho, já com o windows 10, então n mexi na bios)

Isso e algum defeito do processador ou algo que eu nao fiz eu fiz algo de errado?

There is an option in Windows 10/11 to lock the number of processors on boot. Processors = physical cores plus hyper-threads if hyperthreading is enabled. It is possible that Windows is locked to 2 processors which would explain what you are seeing.

To fix this run MsConfig, then select the Boot tab and click on the Advanced Options button. This will bring up the BOOT Advanced Options screen. If the Number of processors option is selected (see W11 graphic below) then deselect it. This will release the lock on the number of processors but won't actually change the number of processors. To do that click OK and then on the next screen click on Apply and then OK. A restarting choice will be offered. Restarting will clear the processor lock and give you the correct number of processors.
