This is because the 12th generation are bad processors and they have a lot of micro-stuttering due to e-cores (they can be disabled in the bios, but it seems worse without them) and there is also a problem with all 600/700 chipsets in which windows has a different system timer when turning on the computer, because of this, each computer turn on may have a different mouse feeling (I don't understand why this is not fixed)

Hello,

I recently bought an i7 12700k. The games run smoothly, but I've noticed that if, for example, I have the PC on all day, at least 8 hours, for work, with Anydesk, running some applications, Google, etc... When I want to run a game at night, it doesn't seem to be as fluid, it gives some lags.

I checked the processor temperature, it doesn't reach 60 degrees while playing. If I restart the PC, the games run smoothly again.

I also notice that if I'm playing and I minimize the game several times, after a while the games give some micro-jerks.

It doesn't seem like stuttering, it's like it gives mini-jerks as if it were loading textures.

I know it's not the graphics card since it didn't happen with the i7 10700k.

This is my computer:

MSI Z790 Gaming Plus Wifi
i712700k
RTX 4070 ti super
Corsair 32 GB 2x16) 5600hz C36
Power supply Corsair 750 Gold.
Monitor Asus Rox Strix XG27ACS

What could it be?

Thanks for the information. I'm on time and I'm going to return it with the components I bought. I'm returning with my i7 10700k that was running smoother. Thanks.
