Questions about undervolting my i5 13600kf after latest microcode update (0x129)

Hello everyone!

Ever since I bought my i5 13600kf last year I noticed it got extra hot (100 ºC) during stress tests/heavy gaming so I undervolted it a little bit. I used this guide to do it.

By the way, I have air cooling - Scythe Fuma 2 Dual Tower - SCFM-2100 Rev.B.

The undervolting was successful - max temperatures got 15-20 Celsius degrees lower (80-85 using the same stress tests) and max VCORE was around 1.25-1.27 - without loss of performance -, so I did not bother with it anymore.

And then the whole thing with the 13th gen and 14th gen CPUs started and I got worried... This week I finally updated my BIOS to the latest Intel microcode (0x129), which seems to have erased my previous underclock settings.

So I went ahead and followed the same steps from the mentioned guide, albeit without choosing the 0x104 microcode this time. Unfortunately the temperatures increased again - not as much as previously, but still something that is kind of bothersome. Stress tests take the temperature to around 92-95 degrees and VCORE peaks at 1.279 V.

My questions are:

Now that we know about the degradation situation, will it still be safe to use microcode 0x104 WITH the undervolting settings?

If I should not use microcode 0x104 (meaning, I should use the latest, "safest" one), with the current results I am getting (VCORE 1.279 and max temps around 92-95), am I safe? Meaning, will my CPU degrade or not?

Sorry if this seems extra obvious, I just thought it would be quicker to ask about my exact scenario here.

Thank you so much!
