Hi Aliascerdo,

Thanks for post in Intel Communities. I'd like to clarify some information on your post:

1. Based on the event viewer logs, the sources of the warnings that you're getting is the PCIe root port which can normally be addressed by obtaining an updated BIOS and Chipset driver. I would like to ask if you have updated these drivers to address the issue?

2. Is the freezing isolated on a particular software or is the whole system freezing when you get this error?

Regards,

Ernesto C.

Intel Customer Support Engineer

Hello, I don't know where I can find the drivers for my PC since the Gateway team doesn't deign to answer me and they don't have a page to download those drivers, I don't know if there is any other way to update them.

Hi Aliascerdo,

Thanks for responding to my previous post. Before we proceed, please note that this is an OEM device, we will try to assist you with general troubleshooting steps even if it’s something not traditionally covered in our support. However, if the issue still persists, you will have to contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer of your device. Your device manufacturer may have altered features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to some components for better compatibility with your system.

I found the driver page for gateway from the link below:

Gateway support page: https://gatewayusa.com/support.html

In order to find the correct driver for your laptop, You'll need to determine the laptop model of your device. The information you need should be available using the System Information App preinstalled in Windows. To locate the System Information App, follow the steps below:

Right click on the Start button

Click on Run

On the Run dialog box, type in "msinfo32"

Then press Ok, the System Information App should show up and will contain the model of your Gateway laptop

You can use the model to find the specific drivers for your laptop using the link that I've provided above

Regards,
