Intel Trusted Execution Technology enable or not

Hello!
I have a laptop with i5 12600H processor, when i looked up at BIOS, there's an option to turn on Intel Trusted Execution Technology. should i enable it or just leave it disabled? (I'm just a normal user and not in any business). I also saw the description if it's enabled it would need a full restart, what does ot mean?

Is there any downside by enabling this feature? like performance loss?
And also if it enabled will my laptop safe from malware attacks and ransomware encryption?

Thanks for the answer.
I think i don't need to enable Intel TXT feature.
I found on internet that some users get boot loop when this feature is enabled, I'm curious if this feature enabled, it will prevent me from booting to windows or the worst case is I won't be able to enter bios. As CPU can also bricked motherboard (According to YouTube videos).
