I need to update my microcode version from 0x127 to the latest one (0x129 or above). Many applications have spontaneously crashed on my device (Lenovo Legion Pro 5 16IRX8, a laptop). After contacting the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 support team, they directed me to update my microcode*. I went onto Lenovo's website and found the latest BIOS update for my device, and installed it. However, the microcode version for me is 0x127. After that, I tried manually downloading and installing the microcode update from the GitHub repository**; however, I could not find my CPU ID.

Does anyone know how to update my microcode?

*Links:

https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/238264?page=1

https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/possible-instability-issues-with-intel-13th-and-14th-gen-desktop-cpus/650577

**Link:

Intel-Linux-Processor-Microcode-Data-Files/intel-ucode at main · intel/Intel-Linux-Processor-Microcode-Data-Files · GitHub
