Dear Intel, as requested by you I am opening a new thread to continue the discussion from the previous one
i9-13900K, BSOD for a year without a real solution
https://community.intel.com/t5/Processors/i9-13900K-BSOD-for-a-year-without-a-real-solution/td-p/1619995
With the BIOS update to version F11 (see the info below) of the Gigabyte motherboard, after a day of use of the PC the stability seems good, but the use of VMware still causes a BSOD, which I am sending as an attachment.
If I restore the value to 4 of the entry in the registry Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\intelppm with regedit I can open and use VMware, but as I said before, the speed does not exceed 3 Ghz
Thanks for your instructions

Info upgrade BIOS
F11
9.67 MB
Sep 27, 2024
Checksum : 6621
Introduce the "Intel Default Settings" and enabled as default, user needs to disable it first to use GIGABYTE PerfDrive profiles
Introduce microcode 0x12B as the final mitigation of 13/14th Gen desktop processor Vmin Shift Instability issue according to Intel official
i. 0x12B encompasses 0x125 and 0x129 microcode updates, and addresses elevated voltage requests by the processor during idle and/or light activity periods.
ii. microcode 0x129 (August 2024) addresses high voltages requested by the processor.
iii. microcode 0x125 (June 2024) addresses eTVB algorithm issue.
Add EZ-OC support for AORUS x XPG co-branding DRAM

Hi Exorib,

Thanks for posting in Intel Customer Support.

I would like to ask the following to clarify the issue you've encountered from your previous posts.

a. I saw on your previous thread that the issue was somewhat fixed after restoring to BIOS version: F10c. Kindly clarify if you are on the latest F11 or F10c.

b. Is there any sign of physical damage on the processor?

c. Did you overclock the processor? Please note that if the system was overclocked, including voltage/frequency beyond the processor supported specifications, your processor voids warranty.

Regards,

Ernesto C.

Intel Customer Support Engineer

Dear Intel,
a. The current BIOS installed is F11, from October 2024, but there have been no improvements;
b. I don't know how to determine physical damage to the microprocessor;
c. I don't know how it overclocks. I bought this PC with i9-13900K 18 months ago because it was the most powerful on the market.

On December 20th I reinstalled Windows 24H2 again with the minimum drivers allowed, but there were repeated BSODs again. I read on the Internet that Win 24H2 is unstable, so today I installed version 23H2 always with the minimum drivers allowed (see the attached image), again the BSOD appeared (attached) during the Windows update. So I set the value to 4 of the entry in the registry Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\intelppm with regedit.

I don't know what to do anymore.
Thanks for replying.

Dear Intel,
b. the microprocessor has never been moved from there and I see no signs of physical damage, not even looking at the photo (attached).

Thanks again for your attention
