what are the normal temps for i9 14900hx notebook cpu

so in general i dont feel that my laptop is hot its mostly not even warm but my hwmonitor says sometimes its 98c and still the laptop is cold so i wanted to know what are the normal temps for my cpu and my gpu which is rtx 4060 laptop

and is it possible to keep the cpu under 40c like undervolting or any other way that wont harm my laptop under demanding work like unreal engine 5 or gaming like indiana jones the great circle

This can happen because the cooling system works to dissipate heat, but it may not always keep up with instantaneous spikes. However, if the laptop feels cool to the touch, it's possible that the thermal design or cooling system is doing its job, even though the temperature may appear high in software readings. i got the same cpu intel i9 14900 hx and nvidia 4080 12gb vram and 32 gb ram.

msi vector laptop

my machine do mini crashes all the time when playing lol and the cpu temp reaches 100 c when this happens. im only playinjg lol and my machine should not lag on this easy game. mid fight my screen freezes and my fps goes to 1. ive already ran cinebench and the results were great, but still there is something very wrong when i cant even play league of legends.

Dear Team,

I bought my fist gaming laptop few days ago. CPU I9 14900HX with RTX 4070. I have updated all drivers but the idle temperature of laptop fluctuate from 53 to 56ºC. Is this acceptable singe the range should be 30-50ºC. If I use Intel ETU to do benchmark the temperature on the test is 97ºC but I run stress test, from the beginning to the end my cup is under power limit throttling. The max p-core frequency does not exceed 3.5 GHz regardless the power mode.

Could you advise me if this is normal or I have to replace my product.

I bought a Medion Erazer X20 i9 -14900HX 4070 RTX and my CPU will be around 50-56. would say it's fairly normal.

49C with a cooling matt.

Use the Nvidia Control panel and force games to run at 60fps where you can. 1200p maybe instead of 1600p. this will all help to keep it cooler without compromising on graphics and visuals too much.
