Shows error when i open IOMT.

Hi,

I'm trying to run IOMT on my laptop.

But always show the error after i click the IO Margin.

Please refer to the pic. as attachment.

Provide some info. hope it might help:

1. I'm using Raptor lake i5 and the IOMT version is "738856_RPL_P_IOMT_1_0_09_PV".

2. Error message: Cannot read properties of null(reading 'name')

Rly hope could be replied before Thur.. Plz.

-->Download the python by click the link from UG.

Install the python by using the cmd. Which write in UG.

Install IOMT by run as administrator.

-->Yes, the same error had occurred before, at that time, reinstalled operating system might had chance to fix the error.

However, in this case the method didn’t work

-->Yes, I had use other sku, same design except the CPU was RPL i7. And the IOMT work normally.

4. Why are you using this tool? What properties are you trying to access? Is this for a project? Can you provide more information about

what you are trying to achieve?

-->Ans1: I’m HW EE which working on design notebook PCB. Using IOMT to run some RX signal is one of the test item.

Ans2: Yes.

Ans3: I’m trying to test PCIE-CPU, PCIE-PCH, USB3 and TCSS by IOMT.

And to apply the report to my manager.

5. Have you tried to reach with your laptop or system manufacturer to inquire this error message?

-->I’m the EE of this project but I have no idea what’s the error stand for.

6. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? If so, what were they and what were the results?

-->A. Reinstall operating system. But still show the error.

-->Use the same SSD which had been confirm could run the IOMT

The error had gone but after click the probe configuration it’s show red X.

For example, one common error message is "Cannot read properties of null (reading 'name')," which means that the tool is trying to access a property of an object that is null.

-->In this case, is there any way I can check is the name exists or null?

Is there any way I could fix this problem?

Additionally, if possible, could you share a screenshot of the software's GUI that you're using for testing? I would like to verify the version in the actual application context, even though you've already mentioned it in your post.

While the Raptor Lake i5 and i7 processors belong to the same family and should generally be compatible with the same software, differences in performance capabilities can lead to varying experiences. Ensuring that all system configurations and software requirements are properly aligned is crucial to mitigating any issues.

Regarding the version "738856_RPL_P_IOMT_1_0_09_PV," it should be compatible with the Intel® Core™ i5-13420H, as it is part of the Raptor Lake family. Sorry for late replied, supply belowe file as attachment.

1. "SSU64 log_for intel checking.txt"->Was saved after run the SSU64.exe.

2. "dx_info_15088.txt"->Was generated after run the SSu64.exe.

3. "software GUI.png"->Screenshot for IOMT UI.

If i missunderstood the meaning of software GUI please let me know and resent the correct info. which you need.
