In order to get better information about your system, please download the Intel System Support Utility (SSU). Run the SSU scan (check "Everything") and save the results. The .txt file with the results please attach to your post.

I don't think that the SSD in your laptop was set up as a cache. Reading this laptop documentation, I understand that the Windows O.S. was installed on this SSD, while the HDD is intended to serve as data storage. So, if this is the case, you don't need any RST driver. Any way, after sending the SSU report, you will get the answer.

Leon

I have a Lenovo Ideapad U410 laptop that has a 3rd generation Intel Core i7-3517U processor. This laptop has 8gb RAM and 32gb SDD as well as a 1T8GB HD. It originally came with Windows 8.1. As I understand it, the SDD was set up as a cache for the HD.

I have upgraded to Windows 10 and have been trying to determine if the SSD is still doing the job of cache for the HD. I believe I need to install the Intel RST driver and SRT driver to set this up. However, there doesn't seem to be a driver that supports Windows 10 on this Intel i7 processor.

Am I correct and there is no way to set up the SDD as cache for the HD?
