topic Intel 13th Gen i9 CPU - ACPI BERT table analysis in Mobile and Desktop Processors

Hi,

We are facing an issue where a PC with 13th Gen I9 CPU and 4x SR Memory (each 16GB, no OC, mainboard has T-Topology) does reset itself without an apparent reason.

After such reset, we have been able to extract a BERT blob which looks to indicate a "Firmware Error Record Reference". Looking into the UEFI spec, it seems this hex data is vendor specific. Are there any known tools to diagnose/decode this error record?

Thank you.

Knowing what has been tried can help us avoid redundancy and focus on new solutions.

BIOS Update: Have you tried updating to the latest BIOS version? Sometimes, BIOS updates can resolve compatibility issues and improve system stability.

Swap Testing: If possible, have you tried swap testing components like memory modules or the CPU to identify any faulty hardware?

Overclocking: Are you currently overclocking any components? Please note that overclocking can void warranties and may contribute to system instability.

Best regards,

Dean R.

Intel Customer Support Technician
