Ive recently gotten a windows update for the intel management engine. It installed and then it blacked out while installing. Since then everytime i boot my laptop (lenovo X1 carbon G10) it tries to read the ME firmware,

it goes: reading ME firmware -> recovering ME firmware -> failed to recover ME firmware -> Post screen.

Ive tried reflashing the bios, reflashing the ME firmware, rolling back the bios, hard resetting the bios, nothing works...

is there anything else i could do?

In this case, you need to be talking to the manufacturer of your motherboard/system (in this case, Lenovo). It is they who handle the installation of the ME and BIOS firmware.

Sorry I didn't have a better answer...

...S
