The NPU on the MS Surface Laptop Studio 2 is installed on a M.2 card. So you are correct it is a separate device from the CPU. The Surface app should update the drivers and/or firmware of your machine to the latest versions. Support for Surface laptops is provided by Microsoft so any other issues need to be addressed to them through the Surface Laptop help & learning page .

Hi

Trying to get Intel's NPU Acceleration Python Library to run, which prompted me to update the Driver from 2016 to 2408.

My question is, which driver version even supports the NPU installed inside my laptop? I have a Surface Laptop Studio 2 NPU, which doesn't seem to be integrated in the i7-13700H. The latest Intel NPU Driver side seems to be only mentioning newer Intel Core Ultra models.

Is there even newer drivers for that NPU I have? Is this NPU too specific or rudimentary to test & try ML-related applications?

Thank you for your help <LI-EMOJI id="lia_slightly-smiling-face" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"></LI-EMOJI>

gesep1
