I contacted several people at Intel and noone could give me an answer to the question "Is the 1156 or the 1366 architecture going to continue?" I'm hoping someone in the community might have some information that the people I was able to reach at Intel did not have access to. I am ready to purchase a new motherboard and cpu and I don't want to pick an architecture that is going to end with the next motherboard I purchase.
