      <title>Intel Apps will not download from MS Store on new/clean Win11 24H2 install</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have made multiple attempts (4 or more) to do a clean install of Windows 11 Home 24H2 but keep having problems downloading the following Intel Apps from the MS Store:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Intel Graphics Command Center&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Intel Rapid Storage Technology Application&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Intel Application Optimization&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Each time, for each app, I receive a message that says &lt;STRONG&gt;(Microsoft) is aware of the problem and displays error code 0x80070032&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Nothing is downloaded or no attempt seem apparent that the application even tried to install.&amp;nbsp; All other apps and software download and install without any issues.&amp;nbsp; Only the Intel apps seem to have problems on 24H2.&amp;nbsp; When I reinstalled Windows 11 23H2 all three apps download and install automatically and run without problems.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To emphasize, this is always on a clean install of Windows 11 24H2 NOT an in-place upgrade.&amp;nbsp; All drivers are up to date.&amp;nbsp; I have reverted back to 23H2 for now in hopes I can gain a better understanding what's going on.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;System specs (all brand new):&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Asus Z790 Dark Hero motherboard&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Intel i9-14900K CPU&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Asus ROG Strix RTX4080S-O16G GPU&amp;nbsp; - Nvidia driver 576.28&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Corsair DDR5 XMP II - 6200 MHz (64 GB)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Yes, but only on Win11 &lt;U&gt;23H2&lt;/U&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Doing the same thing (clean install of OS) I can download and use all three Intel Apps on older Windows versions but not on 24H2.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks, Michael, but I'm not sure this is specific to my issue as I have no problem with any of the OS updates and all or any of the Store apps (except for the 3 Intel one noted above).&amp;nbsp; Both Windows and MS Store application, driver and security updates all process smoothly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Keeping in mind that it is a clean install from a blank hard drive, Windows 11 install, chipset and drivers updated, Windows updates applied, MS Store apps downloaded.&amp;nbsp; No other software (Outlook, O365, OneDrive, etc.) has even been installed at this point.&amp;nbsp; I tend to agree this appears to be more of a Microsoft end issue, but it just seems very odd that the system can't download your three apps from their Store.&amp;nbsp; If it is an oddity specific to only me, then why does the same system work fine on 23H2, but those three apps do not like my same system on 24H2 with all else being equal (hardware, drivers, etc.)?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just curious, are there PowerShell install scripts for these three apps that can be run on 24H2?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do greatly appreciate your feedback and assistance!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I am not sure if Windows logs will get the installation errors in Microsoft stores, however I will also check that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have questions, please let us know.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Update:&amp;nbsp; I did perform an in-place upgrade from 23H2 to 24H2 with no issues.&amp;nbsp; All three apps seem to be working fine after the upgrade.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, I think that is somewhat further proof that the issue is apparently only happening after a clean install of 24H2 afterwords the apps will not download from the MS Store.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I personally do not like to do in-place upgrades of an OS as too much garbage is left behind in the system.&amp;nbsp; I'm hoping someone can provide possible PowerShell install scripts for those three apps...?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Install OS (Local Admin account - no internet)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Install OEM drivers (e.g. Chipset, SATA, DTT, etc.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Connected Internet&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Applied all Windows Updates&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. MS Store updated and installed everything without a problem&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One thing to note, the&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Intel Rapid Storage Technology Application app loads fine but keeps throwing this error message in the Event Log every time it is started:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Log Name: Microsoft-Windows-AppModel-Runtime/Admin&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Source: Microsoft-Windows-AppModel-Runtime&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Date: 6/13/2025 5:11:59 PM&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Event ID: 207&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Task Category: None&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Level: Error&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Keywords: DesktopAppXProcess&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Description:&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;0x800702E4: Cannot create the process for package AppUp.IntelOptaneMemoryandStorageManagement_20.0.1021.0_x64__8j3eq9eme6ctt because an error was encountered while launching.
