    <description>No overclock on the CPU, but I turned on performance mode in the bios I think. I'm not much of a tech guy, so that's the most I did. Other than that, I guess I'll have to go for a new CPU at this point, it shuts down under the slightest workload.</description>

      <title>Intel core i9-13900K reached failure</title>

      <description>Hello there, I bought one of the 13th gen i9's when they came out and before it was known that they burn through and fail after a few years. Mine has just today reached the end stadium apparently, as I was playing a game when suddenly everything turned very sluggish and I **bleep** down my pc to be safe. Now it won't turn on again, immediately shutting down most of the time. When it turns on, it is very quick to completely power off again. I was able to start the CPU test from intel once, but it crashed when testing the math of my CPU. I am very certain it is the known issue finally catching up to me, and I don't know if there is anything I can do now or if I can get some kind of reimbursement? I mean, they basically sent them out to be sold like this, and I had the misfortune of recieving one. Or am I just stuck with this now?</description>

      <description>Note that I do not want people telling me I'm an idiot for not doing anything sooner. It showed no prior signs of failure and why should I as a customer have to make up for a manufacturing error?</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;i had the same issue i bought a new pc it lasted like a year then the cpu (intel i9 13900kf) fried my entire motherboard it began with stability issues and often crashing without any reason i got mine repaired by the company i got my pc from they swapped the motherboard and got new cpu from intel the same 13900kf&amp;nbsp; and now after 5 months i already got instability issues and overheating problems again even with freshly applied thermal paste and decent watercooling system i dont know i always bought intel but after these issues the only thing i can say on my side is dont buy intel again.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Sorry to hear that. I can’t answer your question. But was just wondering in BIOS were you running at Intel Stock speeds or were you running a Motherboard performance mode? Some of those performance modes added by the motherboard manufacturers shortened the lives of the CPU’s massively. Good luck. I hope you get it sorted.</description>

      <description>Yeah, we built another PC for my brother and also went with an AMD CPU this time. I paid good money for that Intel and having it fail on me so early isn't the best look.</description>

      <description>I’m sorry to say but performance mode is overclocking. I always run my 13th/ 14th gen systems at Intel stock settings. There has been a massive issue with this and the motherboard manufacturers have had to release a new Bios for this very reason. The performance mode makes their performance of their motherboard look good but at the expense of the CPU with a shorter lifetime. It’s happened to lots of people. I think intel provides 2 year warranty with their CPU’s so may be worth trying to RMA it.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;no worries mine never ran in performance mode or anything i made sure its stock 100% but it still performes like a** with massive heat problems buying amd was probably the best choice my last pc repair took 8weeks and im here again with a another faulty cpu &lt;LI-EMOJI id="lia_ok-hand" title=":ok_hand:"&gt;&lt;/LI-EMOJI&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
