Hi everyone,

I’m currently running an Intel Core i9-14900K on an ASUS ROG STRIX B760-F GAMING WIFI motherboard, and I’m starting to worry about long-term stability.
I’ve already spent quite a lot on my system, so I want to avoid unnecessary upgrades unless truly needed.

Here are my full system specs:

CPU: Intel Core i9-14900K
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B760-F GAMING WIFI (latest BIOS, defaults)
GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 3080
RAM: DDR5 32GB Crucial
PSU: FSP Hydro G Pro 1000W (80+ Gold)
Cooling: MSI MEG CORELIQUID S360 AIO

I’m not planning to overclock — my goal is simply a stable system for gaming and general productivity.

My questions:

Is it safe to pair a 14900K with this B760-F board for long-term use?
Are there known VRM or power delivery limitations on this motherboard with a 14900K under full load or gaming sessions?
Would undervolting the CPU help alleviate any stress on the board and improve overall stability?

I’ve seen mixed opinions online and wanted to hear from users who have tested this combo or have knowledge in this area.

Thank you so much for your detailed response and kind guidance.
It's reassuring to know that my current setup is generally safe for long-term use, especially with undervolting and proper BIOS settings.
I’ve already updated to BIOS version 1820 and applied Intel Default settings as recommended.
