      <title>Intel XTU signature validation failed. I9 14900k</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;I've had a issue for close to 6 or 7 months where Intel XTU refuses to work on my computer. I've tried what feels like everything to try and get it to work but I haven't been successful. Here's the issue I'm encountering:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;"Permission Denied: XTU signature validation failed. One or more files does not have a valid signature!"&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Things I have done so far:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;1. Stopped the services.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;2. Compeletly uninstalled XTU (using Intel intructions), deleted all files related to XTU (again using Intel intructions) and wiped the registry for XTU, then rebooted. (Multiple times...)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;3. Checked previous posts with the same issue which stated to do the above ^.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;4. Verified certificates are up to date.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;5. Used certutil to verify the integrity of the installer.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;6. Updated to the latest BIOS for my motherboard as well as the latest ME update.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Not really sure where to go from here. The program worked fine before, however, I RMA'd my 14900k awhile back and received a new one that is currently in my computer. After replacing the previous 14900k, the program no longer works. No other hardware changes were made other than the CPU. I've attached the log(s) that is generated by XTU.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I have accomplished all of these steps already and nothing has changed. I think I've narrowed it down to one driver that ships with the XTU installer:&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Microsoft.Win32.TaskScheduler.dll.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;It's the only unsigned driver in any of the XTU folders. When I delete this driver I can progress further into XTU (still doesn't work but it at least looks like it's doing something for XTU). Before XTU can run however, it redownloads this driver which ends up resulting in the same issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

To help us further investigate, could you please follow the steps below to capture the verbose logs?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Open&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;Registry Editor&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Find&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Create&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;a new Key named “Intel” under that node (if it doesn’t already exist)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Create&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;a new Key named “XTU” under the “Intel” node (if it doesn’t already exist)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Create&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;a new DWORD value under the “XTU” node called “LoggingLevel” with value 4&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Restart&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;the XTU Service, or restart the computer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Start&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;XTU and&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;reproduce&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;issue&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Share&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;new XtuCore logs available in C:\ProgramDate\Intel\Intel Extreme Tuning Utility\Logs.
