So, I started overclocking recently and everything GPU related was fine, but with CPU I had some trouble. There weren't many tutorials out there and the ones that were out there were for undervolting/things I don't need, or they were on a different version. I saw one saying I could just change the Performance-Active Core Tuning but my whole UI was greyed out in that area. As you can see in the image, it shows the effect and that I am using a i5-13600KF. Nothing seems to work either, as if I try using Speed Optimizer it fails and when I try to apply any changes, nothing works.

To assist you properly, kindly share the information below.

1. What motherboard do you have?

2. Have you tried overclocking directly in BIOS instead of software?

3. What power supply wattage do you have?

Additionally, to have a better understanding of your system configuration and components please generate System Support Utility (SSU) report.

Hello! I have an ASUS PRIME B760M-A AX6 II Motherboard, and I don't know how to overclock in the BIOS but I did enable all intel overclocking BIOS settings. My PSU wattage is 750. Anyways, the utility results file is attached.

Hello crazyymonke,

Thank you for sharing all this information.

Please be advised that in order to enable overclocking, your system must be equipped with a motherboard that supports this functionality. Unfortunately, the motherboard currently installed in your system does not offer support for overclocking.

If you are really looking forward to overclock, there are several reputable manufacturers to choose from. For Intel-based systems, we recommend selecting a motherboard from the Z-series, or from the X-series, depending on your processor. These chipsets are specifically designed to support overclocking and offer additional features that can enhance system performance and user experience.

You may find this article helpful: What Are the Hardware Requirements for Overclocking an Intel® Processor?

If you have any questions, please let me know

Best regards

Jed G.

Intel Customer Support Technician
