Hi @_Jon_ ,

Thank you for posting here in community. To better assist you with your request for the Flash Image Tool and the FPT tool, could you please elaborate a bit on the context of your inquiry?

Specifically, it would be helpful to understand:

The purpose or use case you have in mind for these tools.

Why you're looking for them is it for BIOS flashing, firmware updates, or something else?

Where you intend to use them, such as on a specific platform, system, or project.

Any specific version or compatibility requirements, especially since you mentioned Alder/Coffee Lake.

With this information, I’ll be better equipped to guide you to the right resources or support.

Looking forward to your clarification.

Best regards,

The Flash Image Tool (FIT) you’re referring to is Intel’s Flash Image Tool, which is part of the Intel CSME (ME) System Tools package. It’s not publicly distributed as a standalone download. For Coffee Lake (CML/CFL) you’ll need the matching CSME System Tools v12, and for Alder Lake you’ll need CSME System Tools v16. These are typically available through Intel NDA portals, OEMs, or motherboard vendors, and are often found by searching for “Intel CSME System Tools v12/v16 FIT”. Make sure the tool version matches your platform, as using the wrong one can corrupt the firmware.
