Intel serial IO

So I have a 300 series board and when I install serial io on Windows 10 I get what it tells me in the redme file, yet on Windows 11 the driver is not installed how it says it should be in the serial io readme. Also I get a device pci standard ram controller, that looks fine but when I check it, it says resources has a problem, hw Id says its part of the serial io. If I search your Web, no drivers are listed just trying to do this post there is nothing for this.

If you have a 300 series board then drivers are supplied by the manufacturer of the motherboard. Contact the technical support section for your board for advice on this issue.

Aye but there not getting installed like they say in the readme I only get 1 device installed.

This is why you need to get in touch with technical support. It's possible that your motherboard vendor is not aware of this issue, there may be a fix available if you contact them.

But I'm thinking intel changed the way it worked on Windows 11 with the 390 series. I have contacted my manufacturer gigabyte for about 4 years on and off about this, with nothing offical

Part of the issue is whether Gigabyte has issued Windows 11 drivers for your Z390 board or not. If not, then at your own risk it might be worth trying the Gigabyte Serial IO driver for the equivalent Z490 board if that is advertised as supporting Windows 11.

Drivers is not the issue, It more win 10 - 11 changes for the 300 series, the changed it but never updated the info

So I have contacted gigabyte about this and even though serial io drivers are only issued by OEM they said intel never supplied, and said I should get the lasted driver from intels site, I replied intel don't list the device. So it's like everyone at some point will have the same problem
