Hello,

I use the intel TAT tool read the CPU power. This list contains IA power, GT power, Rest of Package power and Package power. I want to know, what means of IA power? GT power? Rest of package power? Generally, the Package power= IA power+ GT power+ Rest of Package power.

Hi Kyle_Gu,

Thank you for posting in our Community. I appreciate the clear explanation of what you’re seeing in the Intel TAT tool.

To help me get a better picture of how you're monitoring the system, may I ask a few quick questions?

Which CPU model are you currently using?

What workload or benchmark are you running when observing these power values?

Have you noticed any unexpected behavior, such as unusually high package power, throttling, or performance drops?

Are you using the latest version of Intel TAT, or could you share the version number?

Your answers will help me guide you more accurately and ensure everything is functioning as expected. I’m here to help every step of the way.

Have a nice day!

Best regards,

Von M.

Intel Customer Support Technician
