I want to buy F1 2011 PC and I was comparing the requirements.

I failed on the Processor by 0.2GHz and I passed with flying colours on all the other ones.

Minimum: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4 Ghz or AMD Athlon X2 5400+

You Have: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU T6600 @ 2.20GHz

Is there any big difference between these two Intel Processors?

The system performance does not depend only on the processor speed; there are other technologies involved that also contribute to performance. In this case, the difference between a 2.2 and a 2.4GHz Processor may be minimal. However, we would recommend you to follow the requirements from the software manufacturer.

Since both the required and the acquired processor share the same architecture, isn't the 0.2GHz the only difference (minus, maybe, 1 or 2MB of L3 cache)?
