Problem with core i7 6700k processor

Hello such, recently acquired the core i7 6700k processor, but I want to know because when you open the task manager tells me he has 2 cores and 4 logical processors, is supposed to have 4 cores and 8 logical processors.

Please run the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool and let me know how many physical cores and logical cores you can see on system information. I will appreciate if you can post a picture of it.

And you're right you are supposed to see 4 cores and 8 logical cores, you can see the specifications for your processor at:

Open Windows' System Configuration (press the Windows key + r, which brings up the 'Run' dialog; enter 'msconfig' there and hit 'Run' or press ), navigate to the 'Boot' tab, click 'Advanced Options', and in the upper left corner of the dialog, uncheck the 'Number of processors' option, then close the dialog and reboot. This should force Windows to utilize all available cores.
