Yes, it's enabled in the BIOS.
Drivers, I've tried 11405 through 11703 and get the same results. The compatibility and performance enhancement requirements unique to your processor and system setup are probably the reason why a certain game is not displayed in your Intel® Application Optimization interface.

Source link: Game Visibility in Intel® Application Optimization

Best regards,

Earl E.

Intel Customer Support Technician

So, in your reply it's stated ",,,probably the reason,,,". This is not a definitive answer nor a fix.

Intel APO is one of the selling points of the 14900K, even in the description of APO it's stated "Intel recommends Intel® Application Optimization for 14th Gen Core Platforms or newer", and us customers expect this to work! We paid for it!

Sounds like Intel is back peddling on it because the 14th gen is outperforming the newer Core Ultra 9, especially with gaming. That problem shouldn't rest on the customer, we should get what was sold to us!

Seeing others here asking for help/fix with the same issue, but all we get is the same canned answers and no resolution.
Nothing personal Earl E., but can we get someone from Intel to give us some real answers with a fix and not just quotes from support articles?

Thank you

The games listed on the APO are those that identified during our investigation as being optimized for this specific processor, which is why it were published. It explains that not all processors will show all the titles listed in advanced mode. Only games that show some uplift will show up in the list. Most of the games added are geared towards the latest Arrow Lake processors. However, even then, the overall configuration will be vary on the results. If APO does not detect optimization, it will not include a game in the UI.

In Intel® Application Optimization List of Games, under the note: "Default enabled list may vary by platform/processor generation", not all games will show for all configurations. Titles will only show when some optimization is identified.

Best regards,

Earl E.

Intel Customer Support Technician

Can we please get a list of what games are supported by specific Intel Desktop processors used with 40xx series Nvidia graphics cards.
There's only 8 Desktop 'Verified processors supported by Intel Application Optimization' per the Intel Application Optimization Overview.(Article ID 000095419) So the list should be pretty easy to produce.

Thank you

Hi mZ68,

Thank you for patiently waiting.

We do not maintain a dedicated list of games supported by specific processors. Game performance and optimization are influenced by several factors, such as the overall system configuration, which includes system memory, memory speed, the number of populated memory channels, and the type of graphics card. Some graphics card models may have faster GPUs and memory. If a game does not appear in the Intel Application Optimization UI, it means there is no specific optimization available for that setup. However, Intel regularly assesses new game titles for potential support, which may be added through post-launch updates.

Let me know if you have other concerns.

Best regards,

Earl E.

Intel Customer Support Technician

Yes I did. Just more regurgitated answers and NO FIX.

Seems Intel has dropped the ball, again.
Between false APO marketing and the latest processor being out performed by the previous gen.

I'll be going back to AMD and recommending AMD to my customers as well.

But thanks for your time.
