Intel Optane Memory and Storage Management reports a degrade storage volume. Specific Status reports the following:

Your system is reporting one or more events, and data may be at risk. Refer to the details below for more information.

Storage System View

Click on any component below to mange its properties

Unknown_Array_0000

Unknown hard disk (0 Bytes) DATA Type: RAID 1 1863 GB

PC is Dell Precision Tower, 3660 with 1 TB NVMe SSD OS drive (this is Disk 1).

I created a separate RAID 1 volume from two Samsung 2TB NVMe SSDs on the mother board (Disk 0).

It has been two years, but believe the RAID was created in the Windows 10 Disk management tool, in the Computer Management application.

Data access is normal with no issues or performance noted. Windows Disk Management reports the Disk 0 as Healthy.

Is this a nuisance error since the volume (RAID 1) was not created in the "Intel Optane Memory and Storage Management" application?

Screen capture of the status attached.

Hi Gbar,

Since the issue is related to the Intel Optane software, we will move to the correct team handling this issues.

Regards,

Hayat_Intel

Hayat_Intel,

I have received no replies or links to a new thread, if this was moved to Intel Optane Software. Has anyone looked into this issue. I still get the notice from Windows Optane that one of my drives is degraded. My thought is the software is NOT properly recognizing it as valid, which is a fault of the Intel Optane Software application.

Gbar
