I tried using another email address, but it still didn't work. Normally, this setup requires entering the email password, but i can't find the password field. Please see the screenshot below for more information.

Thank you for the update and for sharing the screenshot. Based on your description, it appears the email setup process may be skipping the password entry step, which could be due to one of the following:

A misconfiguration in the account type or authentication method
A missing or unsupported password prompt due to system or application behavior

Windows 7 does not come with a native SMTP service.

You need to buy thrird-party software and set up another outgoing server to send your emails.

For example at Microsoft Outlook 2010, if you select SMTP account instead of POP3.

The software ... Microsoft Outlook 2010 ... this will create the necessary windows service environment, so this alone to work with it.

Native SMTP service, this is supported only at SERVER edition of Windows.

Your current operating system this supports only workstation PC.

INTEL RST email notifications this does not work with workstation PC.

Just for test ... Disable SSL encryption for the specific account at the email server .... then test again the RST

Over the years many came here asking for assistance and did not find any.

Your actual question is : Can I send email unauthenticated to an internal SMTP server which then relays onto authenticated SMTP?

Answer: Only a professional IT with Microsoft training, he should have relative know-How.

I do not have administrator rights to access the email server, and most email providers do not allow disable SSL for security reasons.
