    <description>&lt;P&gt;RstMwRpc" service I assume is the Intel(R) Storage Middleware Service called RstMwService.exe.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From Disk Manager:-&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD detached it will start and stop/restart.&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD attached ( and RstMwService.exe running ) the service stays running until management app is open then it closes.&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD attached the severice will not restart after being stopped "error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly".&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD detached and the service stopped opening the managment app will not open "Error Code: 0xA00906B3"&lt;BR /&gt;Restarting the service and then opening the management app works as normal with the VHD detached.&lt;BR /&gt;Opening the management app then attaching the VHD works until the "Rescan" button is pressed "Error Code: 0xA0080000" Same code when app is closed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From Explore right click mount&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD Mounted ( and RstMwService.exe running ) the service stays running until management app is open then it closes (App error 0xA0080000)&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD Mounted the severice will not restart after being stopped "error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly".&lt;BR /&gt;Restarting the service and then opening the management app works as normal with the VHD detached&lt;BR /&gt;Opening the management app then mounting the VHD works until the "Rescan" button is pressed "Error Code: 0xA0080000" Same code when app is closed&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Latest drivers for 13th Gen I can find are 19.5.8.1059.2 these have been tested and are in use ATM. (see 1st post)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1- I have tried using Intel® Driver &amp;amp; Support Assistant (Intel® DSA)&lt;BR /&gt;"No supported driver or software updates are available for your system."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2- Latest drivers for 13th Gen I can find are 19.5.8.1059.2 these have been tested and are in use ATM. (see 1st post) Do you have a beta for 20.x ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;3- "Ensure clean installation by properly uninstalling before reinstalling"- this has been done ( uninstall/reboot/install) unless you have another tool to wipe the drivers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Paul&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Asrock z790 RS Pro + 13th Gen i3 13100&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2x WD NVME in raid 1&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Raid Drivers tested (SetupRST) =&amp;nbsp;18.7.6.1010 /&amp;nbsp;19.5.7.1058 (From Asrock) /&amp;nbsp;19.5.8.1059.2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Windows 11 pro 24H2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Memory = Crucial (64GB)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Intel Rapid Storage Technology Application - opens fine and works with no VHD (from a file) mounted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As soon as a VHD is mounted the App fails to open with either 0xA0080000 or 0xA00906B3 errors ( tested with VHD file on raid and none raid sata ACHI drive )&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried uninstall and reinstall and the following links&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000056936/memory-and-storage/intel-optane-memory.html" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000056936/memory-and-storage/intel-optane-memory.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for reply&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The PC was only built this week. So no changes to note.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have updated Bios.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried restarting the service but it fails to start while the VDH is mounted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have moved the VHD to a none raid drive.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The VHD is bitlocked&amp;nbsp; , so have tried with and without passkey - but it fails to open as soon as its mounted.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The management app works perfectly until a VHD is mounted once mounted it will not open.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once the VHD is unmounted the management app does not work until the PC is rebooted and works perfect until the VHD is mounted again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Edit 1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just did a bit more playing&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 - Once the VHD is unmounted and the Intel Storage Middleware Service is restarted the management app opens.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 - If the management app is open and visible when the VHD&amp;nbsp; is mounted the app works !!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It looks like mounting a VHD terminates the Intel Middleware Service If the app is not open.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Event ID 7034 "The Intel(R) Storage Middleware Service service terminated unexpectedly.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Intel RST installed on 2 1TB NVME drives raid 1&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This has the OS ( Win 11 Pro ) on the "C" and a data drive "D" neither are bitlocked.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The VHD is a 8GB bitlocked file that when mounted with windows disk manager and becomes drive "B" ( Management crashes after this is mounted )&amp;nbsp;and contains some sensitive work data. (Not attached to a VM)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have 4 Sata data Drives that are configured as SATA&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;VM software is installed (Virtual Box) but not running at startup ( One VM with Linux mint on a .VDI drive )&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards Paul&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I can mount the VHD with either Disk Manager or "mount" from right click in Explorer both have the same effect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the Management window is open it will crash when I click on something inside it.       <description>&lt;P&gt;RstMwRpc" service I assume is the Intel(R) Storage Middleware Service called RstMwService.exe.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From Disk Manager:-&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD detached it will start and stop/restart.&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD attached ( and RstMwService.exe running ) the service stays running until management app is open then it closes.&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD attached the severice will not restart after being stopped "error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly".&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD detached and the service stopped opening the managment app will not open "Error Code: 0xA00906B3"&lt;BR /&gt;Restarting the service and then opening the management app works as normal with the VHD detached.&lt;BR /&gt;Opening the management app then attaching the VHD works until the "Rescan" button is pressed "Error Code: 0xA0080000" Same code when app is closed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From Explore right click mount&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD Mounted ( and RstMwService.exe running ) the service stays running until management app is open then it closes (App error 0xA0080000)&lt;BR /&gt;With the VHD Mounted the severice will not restart after being stopped "error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly".&lt;BR /&gt;Restarting the service and then opening the management app works as normal with the VHD detached&lt;BR /&gt;Opening the management app then mounting the VHD works until the "Rescan" button is pressed "Error Code: 0xA0080000" Same code when app is closed&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Latest drivers for 13th Gen I can find are 19.5.8.1059.2 these have been tested and are in use ATM. (see 1st post)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1- I have tried using Intel® Driver &amp;amp; Support Assistant (Intel® DSA)&lt;BR /&gt;"No supported driver or software updates are available for your system."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2- Latest drivers for 13th Gen I can find are 19.5.8.1059.2 these have been tested and are in use ATM.
