      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello &lt;B&gt; Roby198&lt;/B&gt;,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;I understand you would like to build a hybrid disk with your 750GB drive and the 32GB SSD.&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;I will be more than glad to assist you with this inquiry.&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;It is possible to combine a SSD and a mechanical hard drive on a RAID volume, but not with the specific settings you have in the computer.  The SATA mode on your computer is set to AHCI so it is not currently possible to create RAID volumes on your system.  If you want to create a RAID volume in your computer it will be required to change SATA mode to RAID in the BIOS  and then reinstall Windows* from scratch.&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Bear in mind that by combining a mechanical hard drive and a SSD on a RAID volume the SSD will be forced to work at the speed of the mechanical hard drive.  Probably the maximum size of the volume you will get would be 60GB.&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Let me know if you have or not any other inquiry.&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Regards,&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Fred D.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So...need to reinstall windows and build a raid ...ok. But i missing you about the final result.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I mean to buil a sshd (hybrid disk ) that use the spindle 750gb and add the fast ssd 32gb not.in.raid but the 32gb is used to host more accessed files .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Like a cache. The result is not a raid is a 750gb disk that transparently to the user it use rely the 32gb ssd to speed up the IO.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Never hear the sshd technology?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cheers&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Right, you are talking about using Intel SRT. You install Windows to HDD and then accelerate its performance by setting up the SSD as a high-speed cache using this technology.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a couple of older NUCs (WY and RY models) running using Intel SRT. In my case, since I had much larger SSDs, I used part of SSD as high-speed cache for HDD and part as Windows System Drive. There is an article about how I did this in the documents section of this forum.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;...S&lt;/P&gt;</description>
