Karta sieciowa Wireless Ac 3160

Wspomniana karta przestała działać. Nigdzie nie może kupić nowe. Nie ma już teraz na 10. Szukam możliwości kupna karty lub odpowiadającego parametrami. Na Allegro nie jest tylko jakieś używane, a te nie dają gwarancji działania. Jeśli może ktoś udzielć w tym zakresie rady, jałem wdzięczny.

Nie bardzo sobie radzę ze sprzętem (jestem starym człowiekiem), ale udało mi się znaleźć tyle:

Well, one (sort-of) old man to another: age is just a state of mind.

I am afraid that information doesn't help. There are two versions of this card for two different connector types and I an trying to drill down to what connector type you have. Actually, what processor does your laptop have? Depending upon its age, I may be able to figure it out.

Better yet, please download and run the Intel System Support Utility for Windows and have it save the report to a text file. Then, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

Dziękuję za odpowiedź. Co do wieku, to masz rację, pomimo lat duchem jestem młody , co do komputerów to jestem samoukiem.

Wracając do mojej karty Wi-Fi, to sugerowanego programu jeszcze nie użyłem, ale wcześniej przesyłam wszystko co udało mi się zdobyć o moim komputerze, co jest w załącznikach. Zdjąłem też pokrywę z obudowy i zrobiłem zdjęcie karty Wi-Fi, mam nadzieję, że te informacje wystarczą, jeśli jednak nie, to użyję proponowanego przez Ciebie programu.

If there is a possibility that your problem is a software failure, try this process for performing a clean install:

If you haven't done so already, download - but do not install just yet - the latest Bluetooth and WiFi drivers for your adapter. Here are links to these drivers: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28817 and https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28622.
Disable Internet access. Unplug Ethernet cable and/or disable wireless. Keep disabled until told to re-enable.
From Apps & Features, check for instances of Intel PROSet/Wireless Software and Intel Wireless Bluetooth. If none, skip to step 6.
Uninstall each instance present. When prompted, choose to "Discard Settings".
Manually reboot your computer.
In Device Manager, check Network Adapters for an entry for Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160. If none, go to Step 9.
Right click on the entry for Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 and uninstall it, choosing to (checkmark) Delete the driver software for this device.
Go to Step 5.
(Optional but recommended) Clean out all temporary files using the Windows Clean Disk tool. I recommend that you checkmark all categories offered, even if no files currently (so it leaves it set up for next invocation).
(Optional but recommended) Clear each of your browsers' cache.
Install the Bluetooth driver package (rule: always do Bluetooth first).
Install the Wireless driver package.
Manually shutdown and reboot your computer.
Enable Internet access.
Test.

Now, if your problem is a hardware failure, you can replace this component with any of a number of adapters that will have similar or improved performance:

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 (433Mbps)
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 (433Mbps)
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 (867Mbps)
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 (867Mbps)
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 (867Mbps)
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 9260 (1733Mbps)
Intel WiFi 6 AX200 (2400Mbps, Wireless-AX and WiFi 6)
Intel WiFi 6E AX210 (2400Mbps, Wireless-AX and WiFi 6E)

My personal preference is the Intel WiFi 6 AX200. In your case, with your experience level, however, I might suggest that you go with the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 9260, since it offers improved performance while still utilizing the same protocols as your existing adapter.

Bardzo dziękuję za odpowiedź. Podana instrukcja wydaje się jasna i oczywista, ja jednak trochę się boje wykonać zalecane czynności, tym bardziej, że już kiedyś sprawdzałem sterowniki do tej karty i pokazała się informacja, że mam najnowsze. Z wykształcenia jestem humanistą, z zawodu nauczycielem języka polskiego i pedagogiem specjalnym, co uzasadnia moje obawy, komputery to hobby i codzienna potrzeba.

Proponowaną kartę Wireless-AC 9260 znalazłem w jednej z firm, ale dopiero w poniedziałek będę mógł nawiązać kontakt w sprawie kupna.

W razie potrzeby zaryzykuję wykonanie proponowanych czynności związanych z oprogramowaniem.

Jeśli pozwolisz, to o efektach będę informował.

Witam Romanie,

Nie wtrącałem się dotychczas, ponieważ zgadzałem się zupełnie z radami, które zostały podane przez Scotta. Teraz postanowiłem jednak dodać moje "pięć groszy" (chociaż te forum jest w języku angielskim, postaram odpowiedzieć Ci w miarę moich możliwości po polsku).

Obecnie zainstalowana karta AC 3160 pracuje zupełnie na innych sterownikach niż ta nowa karta, która planujesz zainstalować (AC 9260). Moim zdaniem, powinieneś zacząć z odinstalowaniem obecnie istniejących sterowników (Bluetooth i WiFi), według instrukcji Scotta. Następnie, po zainstalowaniu karty AC 9260, ściągnij z sieci nowe, odpowiednie sterowniki: Sterownik dla Bluetooth i Sterownik dla WiFi. Zacznij instalację od sterownika Bluetooth.

Jeżeli się nie mylę, to używasz Windows 64bit, w takim razie powinieneś ściągnąć plik BT_22.10.0_64_Win10.exe i WiFi_22.10.0_Driver64_Win10.exe

Dziękuję za informacje i życzliwe zainteresowanie. Jeżeli uda mi się kupić wspomnianą kartę Wi-Fi, to spodziewałem się, że trzeba będzie zainstalować nowe sterowniki ale spodziewałem się też, że karta sama się o nie upomni. Jeżeli stwierdzę, że nie dam rady sam, to poproszę o pomoc znajomego informatyka.

Yes, thank you Leon, I should have pointed that out. The package contains a number of drivers, one for each hardware solution, and only the required one will be installed. If you are going to switch adapters, you need to uninstall the package, install the new adapter and then install the package again (causing it to install correct hardware driver).

Kartę sieciową 9260 kupiłem i wczoraj informatyk zainstalował. Były problemy ze sterownikiem do BT, ale udało się problem załatwić. Wszystko działa dobrze.

Dziękuję więc panom Scott i Leon za pomoc, jednocześnie życzę Wam wszelkiej pomyślności w Nowym Roku, oraz zdrowia i skutecznej walki z COVID 19.
