Intel - RMM2 Remote Control - Unable to Load protocol Handler! (Remote Console Disconnected)

OK, I got the RMM2 boards to work on my server, and I am finally able to load the website via the IP Address that I assigned to it.

However, when I click in the Page, to view the {KVM Console}

I get the following warnings. (See image below)

I have Java installed.

I added the IP Address to the JAVA Security.

So, what needs to be performed next, is the question.

Hello Wayne,

If I see correctly you are trying to use RMM2 and the KVM option, but is not displaying anything, but the error Unable to Load protocol Handler!.

Also seen your notes you already added the IP address to the JAVA Security.

First I will recommend ensuring your network allows the RFB (Remote Frame Buffer Protocol).

Also, will recommend to use different browsers, this is because the newer version on FireFox and Chrome has problems with the new JAVA Support versions.

Also, recommend to verify your JAVA version.

Browser = IE (Windows 10, whatever version that is)

RFB - Would this be something that I would need to add into my router, or what?

Java - Just downloaded and installed it fresh. (version 8 update 131

I looked around for the RFB and found that it deals with the VNC.

I found that the VNC uses port 5900 TCP

I added it to my Router, for the system IP Address that I am on, and it did not work.

So, any information you have on the RFB in the network.

Would be great.

Hello Wayne,

If the RFB is enable on the router. Then another option will be make sure you are using JAVA 6 with any of the updates. I will recommend to try update 01 to 220.

Java 8, is what is installed.

So, you are saying that I need to uninstall it, and install Java 6, with its updates?

Also, did I set the right thing in my router? port 5900 TCP

Yep, it worled.

I downloaded and installed Java 6, and it works!!!
