Hi,

I have a problem with a S2600gz server.

I can't access RAID options on boot. I don't see key combination to make.

I follow this article : http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/000005877.html Not Prompted to Enter the Intel® RAID BIOS Console During POST for...

But no way, I can't access RAID options, so I can't create RAID 1 to setup my storage.

Do you have any tip to help me ?

Thanks

Hello,

Here are our recommendations for the issue you are experiencing:

- Make sure that wiring is correct and in good conditions, confirm you actually have drives connected to the controller on the board.

- Update the firmware to the latest version available:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26278/Intel-Server-Board-S2600GZ-GL-Firmware-Update-Package-for-Extensible-Firmware-Interface-EFI-?product=77886 Intel® Server Board S2600GZ/GL Firmware Update Package for Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI)

- If the issue persists, power cycle the system by removing the power cable and press the power button for 10 seconds.

- Clear the CMOS battery for 1 minute, reconnect the battery, start the system, restore defaults in the BIOS by pressing F9 and try again.

Thanks for your answer.

I've done all action you explain to me but no way. I think that raid card is out of order.

I've finally retired this server in the aim to buy another one.

Have a nice day

Aurélien
