I'm building a Server System with a R2224WFTZS. I would like to install 2x Gold 6148 cpu

This Server System is not listed in compatible processor products.

You can check the list of supported server boards for the Intel® Xeon® Gold 6148 Processor https://ark.intel.com/products/120489/Intel-Xeon-Gold-6148-Processor-27_5M-Cache-2_40-GHz here.

The Intel® Server Board S2600WFT that comes with the Intel® Server System R2224WFTZS, does not support this processor, unfortunately.
