Thank you for&amp;nbsp;understanding.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Usually you should be able to connect 1 expander to each port of the RAID controller. &lt;P&gt;I'm not familiar with expanders. Can you guide me a bit more to extend my current 8 physical drives, to a 16 physical drives setup.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please let me know if you need more info&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Paul. Here is info on how the expander works. Essentially you connect your raid controller into this board and it then allows the controller to see many more drives without the need to buy another Raid Controller with more ports on it.&lt;/P&gt;
